Support Organisations

Third Sector groups exist which provide help and support for children and adults who have sustained burn injuries gain a better understanding of their injuries, and the recovery process involved with an aim to helping individuals lead full, confident and satisfying lives.

COBIS works with the following support organisations:

Scottish Burned Children’s Club

SBCC

Launched in 2001, the SBCC provides a network of support to burn survivor children [under the age of 18] and their families dealing with the life long scars of burn and scald injuries.
