The Steering Group’s remit is to provide the strategic direction of the Network and to represent the stakeholders working in burns care. This encompasses different professional disciplines from the burns service community across Scotland.
The Steering Group consists of:
- COBIS Lead Clinician
- Chair
- COBIS Network Programme Manager
- COBIS Network Programme Support Officer
- NHS Board Representation: including medical, nursing, psychology and Allied Health Professional staff
- Emergency Services: including the Scottish Ambulance Service
- Representation from third sector partners: Changing Faces and The Scottish Burned Children’s Club
